It may be a bit flippant to call it a hobby welder but if youre doing a lot of heavy industrial welding as part of your career youre going to need something with a little more beef.
I have had my Precision 225 for a week and a half and used it heavily for a couple of those days on a stainless steel project.

I learned TIG on a big Precision TIG 375 with a 440v power source and a water cooled torch and all of the fancy AC controls so I am probably already spoiled. I seem to be able weld mild steel OK but 18 aluminum Im trying to weld is a nightmare. I dont want to start a brand debate here but Id like to know if either of these machines has features that the other simply does not.
