This is a Very Simple AC LED Driver Circuit for driving a 1 watt LED on 110 which may be understood with the following points. In this circuit we will drive an LED directly from 230V AC Mains Supply. Just an IRFZ44N N-Channel Mosfet and a Potentiometer.
As indicated in the diagram 06 ohms will pass about 1 amp maximum current which becomes suitable for driving a 3 watt led safely and if a 5 watt LED needs to be driven safely this resistor must be replaced with a 03 Ohms which will allow a maximum of 2 amps of current.
