3 Pin 12v Fan Wiring. The mm Enermax branded fan EBH is controlled to rotate. The third pin on the fan is a tach reading not pwm control.
These standard pin-configurations are used on most mainboards and fan controllers today. Desktop board has a 4-pin fan header. Shadedshu So heres my problem.

There is no fan control. A three pin connector is basically power 512 volt ground and signal. However two fans with 3-wire connectors may not have the same wire colors. Proper fan connector placement is shown in the figures below.
