24vdc Wiring Color Code. The neutral is white the hot live or active single phase wires are black and red in the case of a second active. Equipment wiring includes things such as wiring in power cords.
Orange or yellow wires may be energized with the main disconnect off. There is no code mandated color code for DC. The protective ground is green or green with yellow stripe.
For Voltage UP to 24V you should use Black for negative and Red for Positive.
