If your box can be mounted close enough to the existing outlet you can cut the excess off your dryer or range cord and use that excess wire to connect the two new outlets. If your sheathed cable has a neutral wire and the neutral is not used do not connect it in the circuit panel or in the outlet box. Some 240-volt appliance circuits use 4-wire circuits that include a neutral. My 240 volt outlet seems to be delivering 219 volts.
