220 Volt 2 Pole Contactor Wiring. Make sure that no stray strands are jutting out from the contact block. 240 volt 1 phase motors should use a 2 pole starter.
A double-pole breaker allows twice the power to run through it as a standard 15-amp single pole breaker and takes up the same space as 2 single-pole breakers. I know how to connect a single switch to the relay but unsure how to add the second switch. All electric circuits require 2 sides or legs of power regardless of voltage or polarity be it a 12 v DC circuit in a car or a 120 v AC wall outlet or a 220 v dryer outlet.
Each part should be set and connected with different parts in particular way.
