After its been recharged the driver side blows cold air and the passenger side blows warm air not hot but a definite difference in temperature even though they are both set at the same temperature. I do know you can switch from the R12 to the new refridgerant 134. Its kind of by the oil flter. I didnt see it the first time i looked either. You can verify this by checking the coolant level by taking a peek at the overflow reservoir.
