2002 Ford Ranger 4wd Not Working. But when I turn the knob from 2H to 4H the lights do not turn on. My four wheel drive on my 2001 ford ranger 30L is not working.
When I turn on the ignition both the 4x4 and 4L lights turn on with the other lights. Check the owners manual for details. Truck this past winter would not initiate 4WD.
The light wont light up or anything.
It has the 40 SOHC with auto transmission. I have purchased a used 2011 PK XL ranger 4x4 and cannot engage 4wd. In a part-time 4WD system the transfer case rigidly connects the front and rear axles when 4x4 engaged. Before it was just my 4x4 low but now even the 4x4 high wont engage.
