If you look at the correct wiring diagram for your vehicle the fan M9 in the diagram may be either 400W or 600W and the color of the wires at the 4 possible pins in the connector indicates which wattage your vehicle is wired for as well as the Amperage rating of the fuse can vary in some models but apparently NOT for your 2006 325i.
