The fuel filter on my 1993 Metro LSI convertible is on the left hand frame near the fuel tank.
Slide the new filter into its mounting clamp. Remove the lower clamp bolt and loosen the clamp adjusting bolt. Slide the clamp down both fuel lines away from the fuel filter while maintaining pressure on the clamp. Yet the fuel put into diesel and off-road equipment more often than not contains contaminants such as dirt rust scale and water.
