1995 Jeep Wrangler Voltage Regulator Location. It will still shift into 2 high but it wont engage to move the truck. There is no grinding sound or anything like that.
I do not have the owners manual and I am trying to find out where the voltage regulator is located on this vehicle. There are two small wires going to the back of your alternator one is the field voltage and should constantly cycle between 10-12 volts to control what the alternator is putting out no voltage here and your alternator wont put out anything. Alt tested good.
I through it into 4x4 to get it home and it works fine.
