1925 Ford Model T Engine. The T engine was known for its simplicity reliability and economy. The new River Rouge Ford plant began to assemble Model T engines in September 1924.
It was built in-unit with the Model Ts novel transmission sharing the same lubricating oil. Out for a drive in a 1925 Model T Ford on the type of rough and rugged road it was built for. Henry Ford eventually cut the price of a new Model T from 850 in 1908 to just 260 for a roadster in 1925.
